The TTC Plan

This strategy was developed years ago with my old trading group Tokyo Traders Club. It was designed to address a specific problem, and that is the issue of timing. Even if you are working full time, the strategy could be traded as orders were entered well before the market reached the price. We taught this plan to 1,000’s of people all over the world, and the most difficult part as you may already be aware was getting people to follow the simple rules. The TrendBot EA will follow the rules and focuses on the money making aspect of the plan while the trader focuses on managing the risk.

The plan is a trend following strategy that trades intermediate term opportunities lasting from 1-3 years. It also takes advantage of the short term fluctuations in the markets by trading every swing along the way. Grab a coffee and a notebook, and enjoy the original presentation of the TTC Plan.

The Plan Now

Besides that fact that we are now trading this plan with the TrendBot EA, a few things are different from when this workshop was released. We are working closely together to share opportunities and support each other in the Team Bot Trading Room in Slack called trendbot.

Also, brokers are changing as well, and some brokers are offering tighter spreads with a commission on each trade. Some things never change and we are working really hard to do due diligence on them to make sure we trade with the best broker possible. We only recommend brokers we are also using, and you can find them in our Recommended Brokers section.

The workshop and booklet focus on the buy side only because it is easier for newbies to understand buying much easier than selling. Also, as markets fall faster than they rise, trading an uptrend takes longer with more swings and therefore more opportunities for profit. The TrendBot EA can trade in both directions so we are trading down trends as well.

Trader’s Mindset: Pro Trader Beliefs

  1. You don’t need to know what is going to happen next to make money.
  2. Anything can happen. Once you enter a trade you are no longer in control of where the price will go.
  3. Every moment is unique. The trade either works or it doesn’t.
